Hey there CWII blogies!!!! My post is going to be short and somewhat simple, so here it is.....
Well, everyone (I would think) has role models. People look up to others who inspires them, people that are accomplished, actors, writers, or even family members. Now, with this in mind a lot of the times we can't talk to our role models, if they are famous, or deceased. So my questions for you. If you could talk with anyone in the world dead or alive, for one hour who would it be? What would you talk about? And why? This is a one time chance, pick wisely.
Good luck!
P.S. These people can not be fictional and they can not be from the future, as you don't know what the future holds. Also you can not use this experience to make yourself rich or famous.
My role model is my creator. If I had the chance to talk to him, I would thank him for all the blessings I have. I would also thank him for giving the gift of being his, the opportunity to pursue him with my life.
ReplyDeleteI would talk with my friend Vicky, from Germany. She is an amazing person; calm, patient, and understanding. However, because she lives so far away, we can only reach each other through the occasional email. I'd love to tell her what has been going on in my life, as well as hear how she is doing. I just want to catch up with her!
ReplyDeleteYou should face time her or something!
DeleteThere are so many people I would love to talk to, however, I, personally, would love to talk to Jesus. I know this seems silly, but once in 8th grade when I went to RE, our priest had us do this meditation, and we had to picture ourselves in a serene place talking to Jesus, and since then, I have always wanted to live that exact moment. I feel like I've been dealing with so much lately, I would like to know if I'm doing things right, I would like a hug, and I feel like it would relieve a lot of stress that I have. So That is who I would really want to talk to, I mean in person. It would mean a lot to me.
ReplyDeleteI have decided to give an answer to my own question, because I'm tired of lookin at the number of comments and seeing 3. If I had to pick a person to talk to, it would be God. I would pick God to talk to imperson becase he knows everything I have done, good and bad. I feel that the only way I could for give my self or get through somethings is if I heard god say what he thinks about it.
ReplyDeleteIf I had to chose a person though, other than God or Jesus, I would pick J.K. Rowling because I think she could help me with my writing, and of obviously because he created Harry Potter.
I want to talk to Christofer Drew, he's in my favorite band. Not to talk about him, per say. More about what his music and his views on the world. I want to know if his songs mean the same to him as they do to mean. If they don't it doesn't really matter. I just want to know so that I can understand them more and have a higher emotional connection to them. Lastly, I just want to thank him. I want to be able to tell him just how much his music means to me and how it got me through things people couldn't.
ReplyDeleteThe only person I can think of that I'd love to talk to for an hour is Andrew Hussie. He writes webcomics on his website MSPaintAdventures and I am a huge fan of his works. I'd like to get advise on writing from him, as his current online work, Homestuck, is so well written with such personality and quality that I idolize the way he writes. I'd also like to learn his thought process when it comes to story, as every little detail seems to connect latter on and brings cohesiveness to every part of his stories. Andrew is just so brilliant.
ReplyDeleteTo be quite honest,Mr. Wilson, I'm not entirely sure who I would talk to. There are so many factors that go into this, but I'm going to be selfish about it and say my dad. It's disappointing to know that I don't remember much of life when I was younger, but I do remember that he was a caring man that always smiled and knew just when to laugh. He was understanding but alarmingly fierce at the same time. My father was dedicated and intelligent, and not afraid to be a little bit of a nerd when it came to Star Trek. From a young age, I remember him being the kind of person I could admire and only hope to become.
ReplyDeleteI really don't know. If I had to choose, it would be my mother's father. I would do this because my grandfather died in Vietnam when my mom was a baby. I'm just interested to learn about his past and family, which I never knew
ReplyDeleteI would want to talk to my great grandpa. He is still alive, but it can be hard at times to talk to him for he is very ill. I would ask him about his experience in the war and how helping his country felt. I would also ask him if he felt as if his life was lived to the fullest.
ReplyDeleteMy mom, and I'm not joking, or being funny. but, if i could ever get the guts to ask this is
ReplyDelete"Could your life be better?"
I do do not want to know the answer to this question.
I would love to spend an hour with Jaclyn Hill. She is an amazing amazing amazing makeup artist. She is a huge role model for me because she is so kind hearted and very talented. I would love so much to learn new techniques from her and I would rather go shopping with her and talk rather than sitting down and talking.
ReplyDeleteEvery author out there is my role model. They had the guts to write a book, good or bad, but they had the brain and audacity to challange the creative universe. Simple and easy as your question.
ReplyDeleteI think that everyone in class knows that my role model is Ed Sheeran. He is proof that even with all the fame and money, it is possible to stay grounded and a real person. If I were to get one our to spend talking to him about anything, I would ask him how he does it. I would ask him how hard it was to get shot down time after time and still keep your head held high, I would ask him how he stays himself with the pressure to be "perfect" like all the other stars. I would have to discuss this all with him after i finished drying my tears of happiness.
ReplyDeleteThere are so many influential people that have walked upon this Earth, it's is insanely hard to just choose one to talk to. If I had to it would be my Grandpa. I know it sounds cliché, but he died when I was 4 years old so I don't really have that many memories of him and I didn't really get to know him that well. I normally have a great memory, but he is the one puzzle piece that I can't seem to find or remember where I put it. From all the stories I have heard of him, he was a great father, grandfather, and man. He may have had his challenges and opinions. but he was a great man. My mom has told me countless times that he had necklaces made for my sister, cousin, and I. I have only been able to wear this necklace twice and it means the world to me that he took the time before his death to have these made. I miss the memories I have of him and I would really like to have more time with him because my earliest memory of him is in the nursing home.
ReplyDeleteI don't really know, I think I would love to talk to my future great grandchildren to see what the future is like. I want to see if I made an impact on the world or if I was just a nameless face. I'd want to know and see so much
ReplyDeleteBut I said you couldn't pick people from the future.
Deleteas much as id like to say God, i already talk to him in prayer so i think im going to use this chance to talk to my mother, i never actually got to say goodbye to her so i think it would be a good opertunity to make sure nothing is left unsaid this time
ReplyDeleteWell i can't decide which person to pick, since i have a lot of people that i look up to. The people that influence me the most (both famous and not famous, dead and alive) are the ones that succeeded after a hard life of struggle. I especially look up to the people who proved others wrong. Whether they didn't have people who supported them, but later they show up like "look at me now", or if the person failed at something but didn't give up and kept trying and accomplished their dreams (turned them into realities) and goals.
ReplyDeleteBasically if I cold talk to every role model for 5 minutes each, then i would just ask them how they did it in times of struggle and hard work and ask them for advice.
DeleteI dont really have any famous/dead person that i look up to. Really the only people i look up to are my friends and my oldest brother. They're the reason i am who i am today.
ReplyDeleteI look up to a lot of people, but they people I look up too the most would be my big brother and my friends because they taught me that even when things get hard that they will always be there for me. My brother has taught me that even when life gets hard there is always something that will help you get through it all.
ReplyDeletei don't really have a dead or well known famous person that i look up to; the one person who i do look up to isn't famous or known around the world, but she is to me. She is a person who has been through a lot in her life and she's always came out strong in the end. No matter who doubted her she never gave up and called it quits and I hope one day I can be just like her. She's my hero, my role model, and my older sister. She has made me who I am today, she was basically the one who raised me while my parents worked all the time and when my older brothers had more important things to do then to put up with me. I can't thank my sister enough for making me into the young women i am today.
ReplyDeleteThis might be a silly one but I'd probably pick Witney Houston. She was my idol, I loved her sooo much. I took her death hard like it was one of my family members. Her music touched so many souls and hearts including mine. If I could talk to her I'd ask her if she was satisfied with the life she's had. What she would do if she was still alive. She would be blasting her voice giving everyone that amazing feeling in your heart. She's my role model forever. ( :
ReplyDeleteI would want to talk to one of my favorite DJs Lorin Ashton also known as Bassnectar. Not only is his music amazing, Lorin, as a person, is so interesting to me. I've seen him live before and it was one of my favorite live performances EVER (I've seen a lot of live performances) His music is extremely unconventional in terms of dance music. He produces outside of the box and it works, incredibly well. I've obsessed over interviews with him, and he has such an interesting view on the world, not only is he famous, he's an innovator. He's basically a famous hippie. I would love to sit down and ask not even talk about music that much, I would love to ask him about the world. He's changed not only mine, but many other peoples lives. His fan base is incredible, so many different people make up "bassheads" from hippies, to old school ravers, to new ravers, to regular people who can appreciate his music. The vibes when I see him live are amazing because it takes a certain type of person to appreciate him, and his music
ReplyDeleteHe's not really a role model but he's not a person that anyone would probably like to meet... but I would. Osama Bin Laden I have so many questions to ask him. What was it like to be in hiding for so many years? How did you feel to being the "Most wanted man" alive? It's would be interesting to know those things.
ReplyDeleteI would like to meet either Martin O'donnel, Neil Davidge, Hans Zimmer, or John Williams. All of these legendary gentleman are composers of film and video game music from a god-like level. If I were able to talk to one of these magicians of sound, I would ask them what their inspiration is, when they get inspiration, and where they found their opportunities to become successful
