No the truth never changes, the truth on the behalf is only altered. If the forever ago's truth was altered the how was the truth brought about. Is the truth even in our existance, are we just telling ourselves lies at our own truths? No apologies are needed toward yourself, but accept that the truth can always be hidden, even if it is hidden behind another truth.
This combination of words really confused me. The truth can change, though, when more of it is discovered. That convincing looking dog? That's actually a rat. Nope, now it's a pile of diamonds. Oh no, that's actually cubic zirconia.
People are constantly changing, what may be the truth back then may not be the truth now. You may be best friends with someone, but years down the road you may not even be speaking to each other. You may have thought that the truth back then was that your best friend will forever be your best friend, maybe that "friend" didn't feel the same way. The truth can change just as much as the world can change.
Ophelia, I told you I loved you once... Years ago now. Wouldn't you remember something like that forever? Thank you for the memories. Even though you don't believe I have always and will always love you with all of my heart, my feelings will never change. I apologize for telling you this all of these years later, but you needed to know what I was feeling. -Hamlet
The truth is really just a combination of lies we tell ourselves to make the situation less painful. The truth hurts, and most people don't like to accept it. As time goes on, the situation may change, but the truth always stays the same.
The truth... truth is a thin line. On this line, there lies the facts. Step off this line for a split second and know the truth is skewed, maybe forever. Mr. Plese is correct: the truth never changes. But the truth is like a tree; at it's base lies the cold hard facts, but branches off into, well, branches that are alterations of the truth, and these branches branch off into more branches, etc.
The truth is always altered and a lie always has some truth in it. The truth may never change, but it can be looked at through different angles. Everyone tells a little bit of the truth, even when they say they are lying.
If you told me something once, if it was the excat combination of sllybales that I would refer to when I'm on my death bed, then yes. I still remeber this lady when Iwas two saying, flick the water off your hands in the bathroom. That only happened once. And I still remeber that (dunno why) but Ido. Maybe not as something unimportant as flicking your hands in a sink, but if that one statement is true. Like christopher columbus. Agreed, he's a skum bag, but that one thing about him sailing the ocean.blue to discover the "indians" wasn't true. Any other things you've been told by a parent, relative close friend that isn't true? A biased opinion? A prejudiced one? Common phrases like don't judge a book by its cover and Idont know what other ones?
I really loved the last line, I think it shows how the truth is painful. Even when it sounds good at the time later on it may hurt you. The truth never changes, your feelings do.
ugh. I loved this so much. My favorite line is "again, thank you on the behalf of the forever ago..." It's such a beautiful line even if i don't know what it means. Another favorite line I have is the very last one "-lets never do this again-" I don't really know what any of this means but it's really interesting and i just love it.

it sounded really good, i was just really confused like it sounds really poetic and deep im just not 100% sure what its about. i like how you talked about truth and time though it was really clever i just wish i knew more about the message you where trying to get across
This is really good, way better than any of the poetry I've ever written. I liked how it was so blunt, but not harsh. It stayed honest and sincere all while still being poetic and smooth. I like what he said about how the truth never changes because I don't think it does ether. Sometimes we just don't want to know the truth, but its always there.
Even though this poem is short and doesn't make that much sense, it is a really good poem. The truth never changes. And if you lie, really the only thing you have left is the truth. So why keep it down inside you caged in your soul? It never changes, and never will.
I'm actually kinda totally completely in love with this post. The mystery behind the picture and what in the world could those words mean? Every line stuck to me. "On behalf of forever ago... lets never do this again" This little poem is so heartbreaking, I felt my chest knot up as I read this, as if it were given to me and I really understood it's meaning. And that's good poetry, when it evokes emotions out of you, that you never knew you could feel about a couple of words.
I really liked this. It was kind of hard to read but I understood it and I do believe that the truth never changes. It might get lost along the way but someone will find it and hold on to it for ever.
The past will never change when you find the truth about something, it'll never leave your mind. I think what Plese was trying to get at was love and when you love someone, that never changes and when you're heart broken about someone you don't want it to happen again.

ReplyDeleteI think that the truth can change, if you think about feelings and opinions. Those change all the time, therefore changing the truth about someone.
ReplyDeleteor just looking at the truth of someone else

ReplyDeleteThe truth can change just as easily as a promise can. sometimes they just have to change for the greater good

The truth is something that gets altered as time goes on. What is true now can be nothing but a lie later

ReplyDeleteThe truth is the thing humans created because everybody lies and trust is the reasoning we give for when telling the truth.

ReplyDeleteThis very deep. Shows how you felt at this very moment.
ReplyDeleteThis really opened my eyes to everything, the truth will always find its way to surface no matter how hard you try to bury it deep within yourself.
