The Voice

I was waiting until after The Voice to post because I wanted to post about The Voice finale.  I think everyone knows what The Voice is and who was on it. Okay, the finale was probably the best episode. Everyone sung, even the people that were already eliminated and Justin Bieber sung (ew).  I was just waiting for the finale to see who won. The finale four were Jermaine Paul, Tony Lucca, Chris Mann, and Juliet Simms. I've liked Juliet the entire season through, and have been rooting for her since the first episode. I thought everyone did an amazing job and everyone deserved to make it that far. In last place, was Chris Mann, then Tony Lucca, Juliet Simms, and Jermaine Paul won. I just started crying because I completely thought Juliet would win with how popular she was before she even got on The Voice. In a way its a good thing because everyone thought the only reason she would win was because she was going out with Andy Biersack who was already famous, and had all his fans rooting for her, which is a complete lie. She deserved to be there just as much as anyone else, and anyone that thinks otherwise is wrong. Everyone that made it that far deserved to be there. So who was your favorite or who did you think would win? If you dont know what show I'm talking about then would you risk everything to do your dream and not even know if you get it? Its like working and working towards your dream, and then possibly not getting it or getting it. So would you risk everything to accomplish your dreams or would you just not risk it?  I would. It's worth it even if you don't make it.

I'm sorry i had to get that out of my system. Honestly i had no idea what you were talking about or where you would end up with this post. but i like your question it would be a great would you rather question. i, personally do not have any dreams to accomplish except for the few like go to college and get a job. I don't know if that counts towards your question or not but I would risk everything to go to college and get a job if you can.

  2. Hmm, I have no idea what "The Voice" is, nor any of those people, but I would risk anything to achieve my dream. Sadly, though, I have not a dream; only ambitions that have yet to graduate to dream status.
And, Dominic, I am furious to find that you posted before me, and this is only lessened with the thought that you beat everyone else too hahahaha.

    1. I said the same thing. Dominic, you win this time! But Cotton, you beat me as well, so I guess I didn't have a chance on this one, huh? Oh well; there is always next time, hmmm...? >:D

    3. The voice is like american idol but the auditions are pretty much anonymous and the judges arfent alowed to see them and they pick them souly based off of their voice which is gpood because then everyone truely gets a fair chance.

  3. Well, I really like this post, to begin. I don't really watch The Voice; in saying that, the ending question is rather interesting.
I play guitar. I draw in charcoal. Those are the only things I plan to make a career of when I get out of college. I know that it's risky, but life is a constant barter, is it not? I would much rather spend my days making just enough money for my family to survive, but keep them and myself happy, than to have everything in the world and be the loneliest of them all. I would risk a great deal when it came to getting a gig or even a recording contract, but I would not risk everything. Some things for me are simply not worth sacrificing.
I suppose it's easier when your career of choice is easier. Many people end up being doctors and lawyers and office-workers and that's awesome. We need people like that in our world. But every day they go to work, they sit in or around the same spot, and they do their job. That is not for me. I've been travelling around places my whole life, and I plan to continue that. I want to be in a different venue almost every night. I want to thrust all my heart into my music, and my drawing, and no place else. I want to be heard. I want to make a difference. And I would risk a whole lot to do so.

    1. I really like how passionate you are. It makes me jelous to know that you could do all those things. I wish I had the opportunity to learn and see the things you've seen.

  4. I know of people who have the neatest ambitions. I'm like what domenic said...I plan to go onto college and become a doctor. That's what I believe I would be good at it. I don't have a special artistic tallent. I think I just have hunger, that hunger is for knowledge. The human body and the way it works fascinates me. Science class does too. Becoming a doctor would fullfill so many aspects of my life. It would be a great income, great time (never boring), and it will constantly feed my want for knowledge. So, yes I will do whatever it takes to get the career I want.

  5. I have a dream to go and travel the world. I already got a peak at the world beyond the U.S. exactly one year ago and I've dreamt of seeing the rest ever since. I would do almost anything to go see the rest of it. Pretty much anything but sacrificing my friends and family. They mean the universe to me. I also want to go to college on a golf scholarship and be a teacher, but those are just goals that I know I can achieve. And now for a funny quote about dreams!

Penny: I had dreams you know. I was gonna be famous. Show everybody back home I could be somebody now look at me! (drinks wine) Want some?

Sheldon: You have any frozen yoghurt?

    1. Andra, I've always seen you and seen a teacher for grade school kids. You'll never grow up in your personality, but in your actions and physical structure. It is a gift.

    2. Agreed, Mandy. You, Andra, have a great personality that I know little kids would feed off of and embrace.
For some reason, I remembered being yelled at as a little kid by teachers for the silliest things. I laughed a lot in class and that darn lady would scream at me! I even got in trouble for drawing Hawaii on the map with the color purple. But in all seriousness, I guess things like that can affect a kid for his life--especially me, as I used to be deathly afraid of being punished for anything. But I digress.
Andra, you'd make an awesome teacher!

  6. Melissa,
I really like The Voice, but I can't keep up with the shows for whatever reason. I'll watch the first few episodes and just forget about the series! It's the same thing with every TV show for me, though.
Needless to say, I would definitely risk everything to pursue my dream: becoming a doctor. I have an idea of what speciality I want to study, but I think that's a detail that can be ascertained at a much later date--after medical school and internship, I think I won't be a certified doctor until my late 20's!
A goal that is more applicable to my near future is college, of course. In a way, I've been preparing all my life for acceptance into an Ivy League college. No matter how far-fetched this goal is, I still believe in myself and I do believe it will be--and has been--worth the journey it took to get there.

  7. I love the voice!! It became my mothers and mine favorite show. from the beginning we were hoping that Jermaine Paul was going to win. Its about d##n time that he gets to stand center stange instead of standing in the backdrop of someone elses performance. The funny thing about him is that he didn't even want to audition his daugher made him!

    1. It's not bad if someone gives you a little push to get where you want to be. People are still trying to push me to try out for those talent shows. Maybe one day I will, but not today.

  8. I followed the voice, but not enough to know their names. If Juliet is the girl with soul music and a rock bursting from her then I loved her! Her passion for music radiated all over that stage. She inspired me to pursue my passions further.

  9. As far as the show goes, the only thing I knew was that Juliet Simms was on and I don't like her at all. I'll admit that I am envious of her and that's why, but she did work hard and deserved to get where she was. I would risk everything on the line for a single dream. I'm doing that now because I'm not afraid of the unknown. Sometimes the only way to get ahead is to take a huge risk. Even if you don't make it, at least you tried. Then you can always start again.

  10. Usually Im into the voice, but this time I didnt watch. D:

So I'll talk about the previous one....I LOVED DIA AND JAVIER! And my mom wouldnt but Dia's song! AND I WAS SAAAAADDDDDD!

Anyway, about the dream thing--the profession I want to go into is like taht ALLLL the time. Infact, most of it is a gamble. it's gonna be hard but I want to do it anyway...I dont feel like explaining all of it because Ive done that multiple times on here already (previous posts) so yeah.
