If I'm going to be completely honest... I didn't like this video. To me, people who complain about corporate, society, the government, etc are rather annoying. Yeah, there are some things in life that we don't want to do, but have to do. Whether we like it or not, this is how society is and nothing can really change it. If we lived in a world this guy probably prefers, it wouldn't be as luxurious as he thinks. And also, what's the difference between believing what this guy says and believing what the government says? Why are we supposed to automatically agree with him?
I completely agree with this. There's no way we would be able to survive in a way where there was no government or society. These things, yes can be corrupt, but also were set in place to keep the sanity of civilization. There are some things we need to change, but some things we can't.
I can honestly say that this is making me rethink my whole life. The thought of everything he said truley scares me, that everything where there is thousands of things that keep us happy and alive, there are millions of other things that are suffering and dying for us. Its not right, but its something that cannot possibly change because that's how the world works and it is not fair at all.
I really love this video because it's so true. All you see at restaurants and everywhere is people sitting together eating and looking at screens. For things that make us happy there's so many other things that are suffering and dying. I know that there's nothing we can do to change it and it sucks but it's just how our world is. I really liked the part where it said "we feed our animals but we don't feed the starving because we can't profit off of them" that really got me thinking about how true that is. Everything is about money or how big your house is or if you have the newest version of the iPhone etc. it's not right.
This gave me the chills. He tells it like it is most of the world has tunnel vision and we can't because if we do we will never see the big picture. If we want change don't wait for it be the change. Be the hammer not the nail. A nail holds everything together but the hammer the hammer can destroy things but also fix things
While I don't agree with EVERYTHING he had to say in the video, he talked about things that I have thought about and discussed with others before. Nobody is truly living their lives.
I do not agree with this video 100%, but it was really interesting and he made some good points. A lot of the systems in this world aren't fair or equal, that's true. No matter what though even if you lived a certain way or were taught a certain way I feel like it's your own personal responsibility to live the life you want to live. If you like sticking to a schedule and that's what makes you happy that is what you should do but if you want to live a new adventure each day then you can do that to. Part of this has to do with your own personal view of the world.
This video is insane in the best of ways. It made me think of our world so differently now. I'm honestly speechless from this video. I'm so happy this was on our blog and shared with everyone.
The way he explains everything sounds so harsh but it's all true. This scares me. Everyone knows the world has problems. Lots of problems. But I don't think we know the full extent of it and this video kind of gives a new light to that. I like the bluntness of it.
Like many have already said, I do agree with this video, just not to the full extent. Society definitely has problems - no argument there -but it has also come so far, we have to continue to progress. While there will always be problems, there will also always be solutions.
This video forces everyone to look through a new window, so to speak. It was so shocking, yet not shocking at the same time. The things that he says are so true, but most of it you never really thought about it until it was said. I really liked this video.
This video really puts in perspective how much we use for our luxeries; from the cow we slaughter, so the trees we cut down for more factories. I don't believe that we can completely cut off everything that we have access to right now. We mass produce because we have masses of people in the world that need food. Living styles have changed because of the amount of people now living on this planet. We can change the distribution, but I don't believe we can change the amount. One statement that really caught me off guard would be where he said that we mastered how to kill, now lets master how to live. We spend years at war with each other, killing other people, but we don't spend a second thinking about if they actually want to be in that war, or if they feel that they have to be in that war.
I am speechless, this video speaks so much truth. It really shows us the truth of reality of life and the world we live it. It was raw, and deep, I LOVED IT! It gave me chills. We talk about how we want to change the world and make it a better place but we are killing it more and more everyday by the littlest things we do that are harmless.
I love this video. The truths being told really open your eyes wider to the corruption of humans. Not only were the words true, but the way the narrator said it help to relay the sincerity and severity of the matter.
I really did enjoy this video. I feel like it was almost motivational for me. It gave me the impression that we should live for the future and not just the present.

ReplyDeleteI truly enjoyed the video it not only shows what people see now a day in our society. But it also show the true power of what I world has become to.
ReplyDeleteI agree with some things but not others. I see many of us say the same. But it was rather interesting to watch.

ReplyDeleteEverything we do it to fulfill a purpose wether that purpose is important or not. It's just that sometimes we forget what that purpose is.

ReplyDeleteThis video really makes you think. It shows you how things come upon us and we accept it, though we shouldn't. We should question, yet we don't.
