Actually while on the topic of poetry, I'm throwing in a plug for the Book Club. We'll be holding our poetry slam on March 24th, so please clear your calendars! George Miller will be there, and he's an INCREDIBLE old man. It's a place to hear and share poetry, and this opportunity is at risk! Without funding, we may lose this awesome event, so please bring a couple extra bucks to buy some snacks while you're there to help support the event. I know there are a ton of really amazing poets here, and it'd be a great opportunity to get out there. Remember, you don't need to read your poem just because you attend. If you get scared, don't stress yourself out, but if you get inspired, we're all ears! Sorry this ended up becoming a commercial, but I've been to this thing for three years and it gets better every time, it would mean so much if you attended!
