Not to sound like a self centered person, but I would have a Nick Puracchio Day because I'm just that awesome! It's significance is to celebrated my favorite person to ever walk this earth, ME.
My day would be Triskaidekaphobia Day, and it would be celebrated on the 14th of every month. Triskaidekaphobia is the fear of the number 13, so the day would be celebrated the 14th. This day would show that hose people who are afraid of the number 13 got through the 13th day of that month.
I would like a global holiday where people do something new that they've always wanted to do; a day when people put aside all thoughts of financial security and comfortable lifestyles and accomplish, participate in, or become something they've always dreamt of. Anything from trying an ice cream cone for the first time all the way to finally allowing a female to receive and education for a day (some countries do not allow this). I want people to celebrate overcoming fears of doubt or worry and finally just doing what "it" is! This day would be April 14th because this is the day I overcame my fear and finally contacted my birthfather, who I worried would disown me or hang up the phone (by the way, he's nothing like that. He's awesome). We should do this all our lives, but if we make it a holiday, over time people might finally make it a habit to believe in themselves, their abilities, and their dreams.
I'd love to have a day that celebrated music. I was going to go with just musical theatre because that is super important to me, but a day to bask in the joy that is music would be rad as heck. I'll put it on June 20th. It just sounds right.
Life Month. May 2nd to June 3rd, a month that you meet up with old friends, current friends or make new friends. Share moments like concerts, road trips, getting in trouble with the cops (trust me its worth it) or simply enjoying each others company, at least do one of those things for well being, gifts can be exchanged but its up to you man
A day where all Celebrities are not acknowledged as celebrities and can live a normal life for just a day. People by law wont be allowed to invade their space and privacy.
I would have a holiday in celebration of lights. One night every August 1st, people would light candles and lanterns and turn on all the lights in their house and light off fireworks and other colorful objects in making the night a bright and happy one. Everyone would have a dinner around nine; when the sun is down, and then go crazy with lights. Random I know but it would be fun.
